I am writing to address the awareness of how dangerous DUIs
are. When you are driving while intoxicated, it not only dangers your life, but
others lives as well. Getting a DUI for
the first time can result in a 6 month suspension and a permanent criminal record.
DUIs are something that law enforcement agencies don’t take lightly. If you
were to get a permanent criminal record because of an DUI, you will probably
have a hard time getting a job. While you’re intoxicated, your mind is not in
control of your body. You will tend to do things that you have no idea what you
are doing. Driving under the influence is not a very smart decision.
